I love reading blogs. I subscribe (RSS) to several of them. There are a few on my Blog Roll, to the right, that I recommend. I look forward to reading them every day. So much so that when the blogger takes a day off, or doesn’t post for a day, I sort of feel let down.

Why?

These blogs do it right. They make me feel connected. The bloggers really put themselves out there. I feel like I know the people that post the blogs. They share some pretty personal stuff. They tell me something I don’t know.

That’s what I want to do here.

But…and this is a big but. I need your help. Thats’ where the comments section comes in. Hey, the comments you post here should spark some ideas about which I can blog. I can’t respond to every comment. But I’ll try to hit the highlights.

(Veteran bloggers, or bloggeratti, please feel free to say “duhhhhh”.

You already knew that.)

Anyway, I hope to get to know you better and I hope you’ll want to get to know me better. Yep, that’s why I’m doing some of these pictures. You’ll see me in a different light.

Sometimes the blog will be entertaining. Sometimes thought provoking. Sometimes it may get me fired. But, it will always be honest.

(Which is why I want to tell you that the shot above was Photoshopped to take the bags out from under my eyes and make my gigantic nose look smaller.)

My ultimate goal, however, is to be able to share things here that we just can’t do on My9 News at 10. After-all, it is a newscast and not “all about me”.
